DRESS TO IMPRESS

How to dress in 20 below

1.

As a 1st layer, use wool underwear on your skin. Wool boxers. A wool net garment is great for top and bottom. Thin wool socks.

2.

The 2nd layer should also be a wool garment. Something a little thicker than your 1st layer is ideal. Top, bottom and a second pair of thicker socks.

3.

On really cold days a 3rd reinforcement layer is needed. Sweater and pants made of wool, fleece or a thin down lined material. A buff or balaclava preserves a lot of the body heat that otherwise will be escaping around your neck.

4.

The shell: In cold conditions a breathable windproof garment is ideal. A big hood on the jacket is a must. The pants must be big enough to cover the large winter boots. A thick beanie, a thin pair of gloves and some nice mittens and you are good to go! Always bring a big parka or down jacket to put on when needed.
